AnDREA RODRIGUEZ-MARIN FREUDMANN

Andrea Rodriguez-Marin Freudmann is a PhD student in the MOD lab working with Matthew Alford. She is currently studying boundary layer turbulence in the La Jolla Canyon to better understand how ocean water becomes more buoyant, which has implications for global ocean circulation. She enjoys going to sea and learning about the ocean.

Andrea is originally from Toronto, Canada, and lived in Boston before coming to San Diego. She misses the subway but appreciates the beautiful sunset views.
