As of fall 2017, I am a post doctoral scholar at Scripps Institution of Oceanography working with Amy Waterhouse, Jen MacKinnon, and Sam Kelly. During my tenure at Scripps, I am earning my sea legs as a observational physical oceanographer, studying the interactions between internal waves and eddies. I finished my PhD as a NASA Earth and Space Science fellow at University of Michigan, studying with Brian Arbic.

I grew up near Acadia National Park in Maine, and have a great appreciation for the outdoors. I completed my undergraduate studies in physics at Kalamazoo College, where I also studied math and studio art and had the opportunity to study abroad in Strasbourg, France. I enjoy reading, sailing, snowboarding, exploring new places, and eating new foods.
