Camilla Marcellini is a third-year PhD student in Physical Oceanography working with Matthew Alford and Nicole Couto. Her research focuses on flow over topography and its role in driving mixing near the seafloor. She is currently investigating internal wave activity in La Jolla Canyon, right in Scripps’ front yard. Outside of research, she enjoys surfing, yoga, knitting, and spending time outdoors.
