Dr. Jesse cusack

I am a postdoc in physical oceanography working at Scripps Institution of Oceanography with Gunnar Voet and Matthew Alford. My main areas of research interest are internal waves, flow over topography and turbulence. I use both observations and numerical models to study these phenomena. My most recent research has focused on the temporal variability of turbulence generated by flow over sills in the Samoan Passage. As a PhD student at the University of Southampton, I studied how internal waves interact with the strong currents of the Southern Ocean
